چکیده

Aims: With the stick, blind people can not only project their goals well, but also anticipate obstacles from front, right, left, and unexpected puddles below without physical contact.
Study Design: Obstacle Detection Stick for Visually Impaired Using HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Arduino Nano Microcontroller-Based Raindrop Sensor.
Methodology: Calibration is performed by comparing output value of ultrasonic sensor manual meter. The calibrated parameters are distance obstacle at left right positions. relationship between measured values design tool measuring instrument determined linear regression method to obtain correction equation accuracy tool.
Results: Based on research, working system using an that when in position, will emit a turn sound vice versa, front position sensor, sound, If positions, U-turn if produced comes audio card's SD module where was previously recorded media used as card. percentage level obtained 96.875%, 90.625%, 93.75%. maximum detect 147 cm. In raindrop buzzer sounds detects water reading more than 5 cm bottom cane, does less cm.
Conclusion: works obstacle's ability reflect back waves sent stick obstacle.

A Smartphone-Based Obstacle Sensor for the Visually Impaired

In this paper, we present a real-time obstacle detection system for the mobility improvement for the visually impaired using a handheld Smartphone. Though there are many existing assistants for the visually impaired, there is not a single one that is low cost, ultra-portable, non-intrusive and able to detect the low-height objects on the floor. This paper proposes a system to detect any objects...
